Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Orthodontist to join our reputable private clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, preventing, and treating dental and facial irregularities, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced dental technology in a collaborative environment committed to excellence in patient care. The position is a self employed associate. The candidate must be on a specialist register with the GDC.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive orthodontic assessments using clinical examination and medical imaging techniques.
- Develop customised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, utilising CAD software for precise planning.
- Apply orthodontic appliances such as braces, aligners, and retainers to correct malocclusions and other dental irregularities.
- Monitor patient progress throughout treatment, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired results.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay informed of the latest advancements in orthodontic technology and techniques, including anatomy knowledge and medical imaging innovations.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified Orthodontist with valid registration with relevant dental authorities.
- Proven experience in the application of CAD technology within orthodontics is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy related to craniofacial structures.
- Proficiency in interpreting medical imaging such as X-rays, CBCT scans, and 3D imaging tools.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and treatment planning.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.

- To start at the clinic 1 day per month with a view to increase to 1 day per week (or more)

Pay: £54,157.49-£178,377.47 per year
