About the Role
The Attorney Support Specialist is an integral part of Latham's Attorney Support team. This role will be responsible for supporting summer associates, trainees and first through fourth-year attorneys with a variety of administrative responsibilities, while working in a global team environment with a real-time work ticketing system (ServiceNow). This role will be located in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
The working hours for this role are:
Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Handling daily time entry, calendaring and scheduling, managing/editing documents, and travel arrangements
- Proactively learning internal systems and processes to find innovative solutions to problems and requests
- Preserving the confidentiality of firm and client protected information
- Promoting effective work practices, working as a team member, and showing respect for co-workers
We'd love to hear from you if you:
- Display professional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, vendors, and staff throughout the firm
- Demonstrate the initiative to work both independently and in a team environment with a customer service focus
- Possess the ability to multi-task and adapt to continuously evolving technology platforms
And have:
- Relevant experience in a legal or professional services environment, preferably
- A high school diploma or equivalent, preferably a bachelor's degree or equivalent
