Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, possess good organisational skills, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

  • Serve drinks and food to customers in a courteous and timely manner
  • Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
  • Assist in preparing garnishes, stocktaking, and restocking supplies as needed
  • Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote specials or events
  • Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for all staff and guests

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
  • Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Proven time management skills to ensure smooth service during busy periods
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities
  • A personable attitude with a genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer service

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 1 month

Pay: £12.21 per week
