About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our growing team. You will be working within supported living settings and in the community, supporting adults to develop their daily living skills, maintain their independence, and achieve personal goals.

Your role will involve:

  • Providing person-centred care and support in line with individual care and support plans.
  • Promoting independence, choice, and dignity.
  • Supporting individuals with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and household tasks.
  • Encouraging participation in social, educational, and leisure activities within the community.
  • Managing challenging behaviours using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies and de-escalation techniques.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed daily records and reports.
  • Working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, or Mental Health conditions (essential).
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins as required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and person-centred values.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to a car (preferred but not essential).
  • Right to work in the UK.

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
