The home is based in Melton Mowbray, LE13

We're looking for a Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality, child-centred care within our Ofsted-regulated residential home. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the lives of children and contribute to a safe, therapeutic, and nurturing environment where young people can heal, grow, and thrive.
About the Role:
· As Deputy Manager, you will:
· Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.
· Lead and supervise a team of senior and residential support workers, promoting excellent care that is responsive to the needs of our children
· Ensure the delivery of care meets the emotional and behavioural needs of each individual child and young person in your care.
· Assist with staff development, shift planning, and supervisions.
· Promote safeguarding, reflective practice, and emotional resilience.
What We're Looking For:
· A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
· Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential childcare setting, ideally with some leadership responsibility.
· A solid understanding of Children's Homes Regulations, safeguarding, and therapeutic approaches.
· A resilient, empathetic, and reliable professional committed to making a positive difference.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support others.
