About usHere at Country Style Foods we are currently looking for an Area Manager to join our night shift production team.Country Style Foods is an award winning modern craft bakery. We are at the forefront of the market for both high quality and artisan products and work closely with the leading retailers and food service providers.What does the job entail?Daily plans will be issued and the Area Manager will be required to ensure the plans are delivered in the correct order, on time and in full within an efficient time frame while working alongside the hygiene department to ensure there are no time delays within production time whilst keeping cleanliness standards along with health and safety protocol. Other key focuses for the role will be:To ensure the success of your operational area and continual development of your teamEnsure the Health and Safety of all colleagues, contractors and visitorsTo coach and facilitate a continuous improvement culture, developing true teamwork and excellent communicationTo ensure efficient use and control of labour to achieve Production Plan for all linesOur organisational structure is Site Manager > Senior Production Manager > Shift Production Manager > x2 Area Managers > Line Leaders > Key Skills > Operatives.Other duties include:Stepping into the production manager role when required, training will be providedEnsuring that planned outputs and performance efficiencies are achieved in line with KPI requirements and standardsTaking accountability for all department production, maintaining high GMP standards through visible leadershipManaging and working with your team ensuring your team are happy in their roles, and are on the right development pathEnsure CCP'S are monitored by trained staff in accordance with approved technical proceduresEssential Criteria:Production experience at supervisory level, preferably gained in an FMCG environmentAbility to organise and supervise a trained and motivated teamCustomer focus to understand the needs of different customersBe able to demonstrate understanding and awareness of health & safetyBe able to demonstrate knowledge of GMP & HACCPShift Pattern:Full time shift pattern rotating on a weekly basis 18:00 – 06:00 as follows:Week 1Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & SundayWeek 2Wednesday, Thursday & FridayOur CommitmentWe are dedicated to a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and able to thrive.
