This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic Accounts Team, handling essential financial tasks that keep our legal services running smoothly.

Purpose Of Role
To be an integral member of the Accounts team supporting the Accounts supervisors with training new team members on the tasks listed below whilst maintaining a full suite of process notes to support new colleagues

Main Training Areas

• Processing incoming cheques
• Processing client and disbursement payments
• Clearing client balances
• Aged debt analysis and credit control
• Balancing ledgers at final billing stage
• Updating spreadsheets
• Dealing with fee earner queries on accounts helpdesk/inbox
• Closing client matters
• Posting profit costs bills
• Bank reconciliations
• Complying with Solicitors Regulatory Authority Rules
• Other accounts admin jobs as required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Legal Cashier experience
• Training or legal cashier management experience
• Working with a case management system
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Strong Excel/Microsoft skills
