Title: ITAD Quality Control Operative

Job Summary

ITAD Quality Control Operative will have experience with the Techbuyer ITAD process or possess similar stock control/QC experience to able to contribute to the throughput of incoming jobs from the ITAD Quality Control queue for resale alongside a clear understanding on operating procedures within the ITAD Quality Control process.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying orders, equipment and parts using the internal database system.
  • Processing and checking quality of processed stock to company standards for reselling.
  • Processing data holding equipment to GDPR and Techbuyer standards.
  • Liaising with the ITAD Operations Manager, giving daily updates and ad-hoc updates when requested.
  • Liaising with the Purchasing team to communicate any Quality issues and to confirm Purchase Order pricing and booking in of stock.
  • Maintaining general cleanliness of the ITAD Quality Control area and tidying of the warehouse and assisting in that of the warehouse in general.
  • Working according to the requirements of the Techbuyer Quality Management System.
  • As the company culture promotes helping others, ad hoc tasks will also be assigned to the job holder that are not listed above.
  • Supporting a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company.
  • Demonstrating the capability that you can undertake ITAD Quality Control procedures, measured through the ITAD Training Matrix.

Required Skills or Training

  • Attention to detail - able to follow strict operational workflows and to adequately assess equipment.
  • Organised and methodical approach to work.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively and as part of a team.
  • Experience in working to Deadlines and KPI's.
  • Flexibility, understanding the importance of being available to assist in any area of the business where required.
  • Have a basic knowledge of PC use, including using and administrating emails.
  • Must be able to achieve the core training objectives for Quality Control procedures.
