Start your management career with one of the South's leading roofing contractors. Volsen Roofing is looking for a Trainee Site Supervisor / Estimator to join our growing team, working on pitched and flat roofing projects across Hampshire and Dorset.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in roofing or construction who's ready to step up into a management path. You'll gain hands-on experience in both estimating and site operations, learning how to price works, plan projects, and manage delivery from start to finish.

What you'll do:

  • Assist with estimating and preparing quotes for roofing projects.
  • Support site setup and supervision under guidance from experienced managers.
  • Coordinate materials, subcontractors, and health & safety documentation.
  • Learn how to manage programme, costs, and quality standards.
  • Work towards formal construction management qualifications (SMSTS, SSSTS, etc.).

What we're looking for:

  • Some experience in construction or roofing (e.g., site operative, trainee, or assistant role).
  • Enthusiastic, well-organised, and ready to learn.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work between office and site locations.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
