Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of joinery and carpentry. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Duties

  • Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture.
  • Perform joinery tasks such as cutting, shaping, and finishing wood components.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete projects.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless integration of joinery work with other building elements.
  • Engage in roofing activities as required, ensuring proper installation and maintenance of roof structures.
  • Conduct heavy lifting tasks when necessary to move materials or equipment.
  • Assist with construction painting to enhance the aesthetic appeal of finished products.
  • Participate in plumbing or masonry tasks as needed to support overall project completion.
  • Apply electrical experience when required for specific joinery projects involving integrated systems.
  • Long run of work for the right candidate
  • 7am- 5pm

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and assembly processes.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as chisels, saws, hammers, and measuring instruments.
  • Experience in carpentry and joinery with a focus on precision and quality craftsmanship.
  • Familiarity with power tools including drills, sanders, and routers.
  • Ability to perform roofing tasks safely while adhering to industry standards.
  • Capability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
  • Good time keeping
  • Common sense a must

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: Up to £200.00 per day
