BMS Commissioning Engineer – Major Projects (Central London)

This role sits within a high-performing team delivering complex, multi-million-pound Building Energy Management System (BEMS) projects. You will contribute to prestigious installations that demand precision, technical expertise, and a customer-focused approach.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Commissioning and completing BMS installations on complex, high-value projects
  • Adhering to tight deadlines and budget constraints while maintaining excellent standards
  • Confidently interpreting electrical drawings, control schematics, and MEP documentation
  • Collaborating effectively with Project Managers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Making necessary adjustments to pre-configured software and graphical interfaces
  • Providing ongoing technical support with a professional, customer-centred attitude

What we are looking for:

  • A positive, proactive attitude towards Health & Safety practices
  • Familiarity with Trend or Schneider StruxureWare systems preferred; experience with Siemens, Tridium, or Distech also considered (training available for the right candidate)
  • Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer, ideally with knowledge of metering and third-party system interfacing
  • Understanding of air, hydraulic, and electrical systems within a building services context
  • Proficiency in reading electrical/control wiring diagrams and software configuration
  • Ability to maintain detailed commissioning records, trackers, and reports
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Flexibility to travel to various sites across Central London and surrounding areas
