We are seeking a talented and motivated Developer with a strong background in developing applications using C#, .NET and Web API for Azure. The ideal candidate will have also have skills in SQL, Containerisation, MVC, and WCF, alongside experience in modernising applications for Azure environments. This is an excellent opportunity for developers with demonstrable experience looking to expand their expertise in cloud-based solutions and cutting-edge development practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET frameworks tailored for Azure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Utilise SQL for database development and management.
  • Develop and utilise RESTful services and Web API for application functionality.
  • Exposure to MVC and WCF.
  • Contribute to application modernisation and migration projects into Azure environments.
  • Work with Azure DevOps tools to support CI/CD pipelines and streamline development processes.
  • Ensure adherence to SOLID Principles and Software Patterns to maintain code quality.
  • Perform unit testing to ensure reliability and robustness of code.

Skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Excellent proficiency in C# and .NET development.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL.
  • Experience in development of RESTful services and Web API integration.
  • Experience in the development of containerised applications.
  • Good understanding of SOLID Principles and Software Design Patterns.
  • Experience with Unit Testing methodologies and tools.
  • Exposure to Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Experience in modernising legacy applications into Azure environments.
