About the role:

Sitting within Customer Marketing, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering a multi-channel marketing strategy for Student Discount and Over 60s Rewards. You'll play an integral part of the Advantage Card team and develop plans to acquire new customers and retain and reward existing members – all laddering up to the wider Customer Marketing strategy. 

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll work cross functionally with internal and external teams, to deliver high quality customer communications, driving real commercial results and Advantage Card sign-ups and active usage. It's a busy role that requires a customer focused mind-set, strong communication skills, attention to detail and great organisation. 

Key responsibilities:

•    Own the day-to-day management of Student Discount and Over 60s Rewards with a goal to acquire new members and retain and reward existing members

•    Plan and execute the end-to-end delivery of member-exclusive offers and events, including the creation and activation of multi-channel marketing plans 

•    Manage stakeholders across the business to deliver campaigns on time, to budget and in compliance with brand visual identity

•    Manage third-party relationships including onboarding new partners, developing marketing plans and supporting contract management and payment

•    Review and assess commercial and customer impact of offers, events and campaigns to define future opportunities 

•    Drive KPI performance including sign-ups, active usage, customer value, channel engagement and incremental sales

What you'll need to have:

•    A strong marketing background, ideally with experience of multi-channel delivery

•    A passion for the Advantage Card, Customer Marketing and driving customer loyalty

•    A strong analytical understanding and critical thinking mind-set

•    A creative eye and the confidence to share new ideas

•    A thirst to try new marketing tactics 

•    A customer-first mind-set 

•    Excellent relationship and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders

•    Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills – with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and stick to timelines and processes 

•    A flexible and positive attitude – happy to give something a go and contribute to lots of different work 

It would be great if you also have:

•    An understanding of CRM communications, ideally with experience of delivery 

•    An understanding of onboarding new vendors, legal processes, contract management and purchase orders.
