As the Test & Acceptance Engineer you will work as part of a small team who develop communications products in line with internal engineering and quality procedures. As a member of the development team, you will carry out software testing to meet project requirements and to deliver high quality products.

What You Will Do
Carry out software quality assurance activities in our team developing the Park Air R4 Remote Control and Monitoring System (RCMS) software. Activities include:

  • Analysis and review of requirements
  • Manual and automated test development
  • Test execution, debugging, and reporting
  • Maintenance and improvement of the CI system
  • Collaboration with the team and achieving together

Requirements
What we are looking for:
You will preferably have a 1st or 2:1 class degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical subject
.
To get us excited about your application you should have experience in the following areas:

  • Test automation using C#
  • Experienced in SW testing (Practical experience and ISTQB qualification)
  • Working in product development team

And Although Not Essential, The Following Would Be Desirable

  • Selenium and NUnit
  • Version control SW (e.g. GitLab) and work/issue tracking SW (e.g. Jira)
  • Jenkins pipeline maintenance

Security Clearance
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role. Please note that in the event that BPSS clearance cannot be obtained, you may not be eligible for the role and/or any offer of employment may be withdrawn on grounds of national security.
