Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team. This role involves managing front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting administrative functions within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be proficient in various computer applications, and demonstrate a friendly and approachable demeanour. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop administrative expertise within a dynamic organisation.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer incoming calls promptly and direct them appropriately using proper phone etiquette
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate meetings efficiently
- Maintain organised records and filing systems for easy retrieval of information
- Assist with general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing documents
- Support team members with clerical tasks to ensure smooth office operations
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times
- Booking and amending appointments via telephone, email and in person via our computerised booking system
- Daily cashing up and reconciliation
- Maintaining the clinic, ensuring it is clean and tidy at all times
- Assisting our chiropractors with admin tasks as and when required
Skills
- Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Previous administrative or clerical experience is advantageous
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Organised with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks
This position is ideal for candidates who are proactive, personable, and eager to contribute to a professional office setting.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 22 – 26 per week
