Job Description
is looking for a Senior Associate Financial Reporting to own the external financial statements for the group and its 2 main UK entities.
This is a very exciting opportunity for a financial reporting professional to join a rapidly expanding global company. The role is in a multi-layered global finance team and will be a central point for financial statements globally, assisting local entities around the world as needed.
The ideal candidate will be a great finance reporting associate with a willingness to be hands-on, someone that is self motivated and has excellent communication skills. You will be joining a growing global Financial and Technical Accounting team that coordinates the Group month end process, consolidated internal and external reporting and technical accounting decisions.
Role overview | Remit and responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the IFRS-compliant Consolidated Group and 's two UK entities external financial reports
- Working with numerous teams around to gather the required data to ensure compliance with financial reporting regulations
- Be the main external audit liaison point on financial statements.
- Assist the technical accounting and financial reporting teams on ad hoc global projects

Successful candidates will bring a strong passion for Financial Reporting and experience in a controlled reporting environment. A candidate with experience in building financial statements under UK rules as well as having the high level of integrity demanded in an enterprise that operates in a complex, highly regulated environment.
- Experience working in a fast growing, multinational company
- Detailed knowledge of UK reporting regulation and accounting standards
- IFRS experience and an understanding of how to apply accounting standards to financial statements
- Experience of building financial statements, including creating robust controls and documentation of the reporting process
- An understanding of the audit process and preferably experience in having dealt with auditors in previous roles
- You have a commitment to accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Good stakeholder manager, comfortable liaising with numerous stakeholders across and external providers or auditors
- Ability to independently project manage
- Highly motivated and able to work towards tight deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
- 4+ years of financial or regulatory reporting experience
- Experience in multi-currency group consolidation processes, including eliminations, FX adjustments, inter-company reconciliations
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel
