Job Overview

Energies of the Future Limited is a leading provider of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installation and specialist construction services. Our work covers electrical installations, plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, and other building infrastructure projects throughout the UK.

We are now seeking a Business Consultant to strengthen our strategic and operational capabilities, streamline business processes, and support the company's continued growth in the construction services sector.

Responsibilities

  • Research and analyse the company's strategic position in the UK construction and installation market.
  • Assess business operations, supply chain, and project management workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the company's competitive position, profitability, and efficiency.
  • Evaluate and propose improvements to internal corporate structures, communication methods, and reporting processes.
  • Support adoption of new technologies, IT tools, standards, and certifications to modernise business operations.
  • Conduct market and stakeholder analysis to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare analytical reports, business models, and financial forecasts for senior management.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to implement change management strategies and monitor progress.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (or equivalent RQF Level 7 qualification) in International Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business consultancy, operations analysis, or project management, ideally within construction, engineering, or building services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide practical business solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and business analysis/reporting tools.
