Job Overview
We are hiring a full-time Chiropractic Clinical Assistant to join our friendly Fordingbridge Chiropractic Clinic, part of a group of Clinics. No chiropractic experience is required as full training is provided. Applicants must have a driving licence and their own vehicle, with flexibility to cover occasional shifts at our Bournemouth clinic.
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and detail-oriented Receptionist / Clinical Assistant to join our friendly and supportive healthcare team to replace our lovely lady who is retiring.
This role combines patient care, administration, and professional front-of-house responsibilities in a welcoming clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Experience & Communication
- Provide a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to patients
- Create a supportive clinic environment for all visitors
- Communicate using a person-centred approach
- Build rapport with patients and their families
- Support patients in understanding the benefits of chiropractic and ongoing care
- Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email
- Guide new patients through their care journey
Clinical & Administrative Support
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Manage bookings, enquiries, and appointment changes
- Complete administrative tasks such as billing, filing, and stock management
- Provide diary management for chiropractors
- Perform scanning, note-taking, and other office duties
- Assist in maintaining efficient patient flows and smooth clinic operations
Sales & Care Plan Support
- Explain care plans clearly to patients
- Discuss payment options confidently and professionally
- Support patients with informed decision-making
Professional Development
- Attend weekly staff meetings
- Complete training as required
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Good IT literacy, including confidence with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new software.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with a variety of people
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and able to work independently when needed
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a busy clinical environment
- Professional, courteous, and committed to maintaining confidentiality
- High standards of customer service and clinic presentation
