Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to work independently. This position requires a proactive approach to pest management, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points.
  • Develop and implement effective pest control strategies tailored to each client's needs.
  • Apply pesticides and other treatments in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatments applied and follow-up actions required.
  • Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and the importance of regular maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and best practices in pest control.

Qualifications

  • All training will be given, but
  • Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify problems quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • A valid driver's licence is required for travel between job sites. Provisonal licence is sufficient at present - can use Company Scooter
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to pest control is advantageous.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From £12.50 per hour
