Morson are looking to recruit slingers/riggers with fleeting experience on behalf of our client in Barrow working on the Dreadnought/Astute submarines. These contracts are initially 12 months with a strong likelihood of extension.

Candidates must have marine/heavy industry background.

Role description:

• Provides specialist and non-specialist services in support of production activities, namely:
• Cleaning
• Confined spaces
• Providing temporary protection solutions
• Any other activity as appropriate

What you will be doing:

• Selects and prepares consumables, materials, components and equipment
• Delivers services and supports activities to Company standards such as but not limited to:
• Cleaning
• Confined spaces
• Lifting of loads
• Providing temporary protection solutions

Skills:

• Job Preparation
• Care and protection
• Plant and equipment maintenance assistance

Shifts can vary. Predominant shift patterns 3 on 4 off and nights:

3 on 4 off - Locals: £21.08 PAYE Non locals: £29.08 PAYE (Umbrella rates also available)

Nights - Locals: £23.37 PAYE Non locals: £31.37 PAYE (Umbrella rates also available)
