We are now recruiting for a Mobility Service and Preparation Assistant to join our team.

You will be responsible for duties in connection with diagnosing, repairing, servicing and valeting a range of mobility products and equipment, subject to level of skill, experience and knowledge with appropriate supervision.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm and the salary is £12.60 per hour + bonus.

The main duties of the role are:

  • To undertake supervised duties when mechanically repairing vehicles or associated activities ensuring that work is checked to provide customer satisfaction.
  • Prep used Mobility equipment for sale, including valet, service and repairs as necessary.
  • Take and upload pictures to various selling platforms.
  • Liaise with traders to move the used trade stock as quickly and as profitably as possible.
  • To ensure a consistently high level of customer care/satisfaction through the execution of your duties

To be effective in this role, you will have:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • National 4/5 or Standard Grade Maths and English, or equivalent.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.

Previous experience with Electrics and Motor Mechanics would be advantageous but is not essential.
