Due to continued company growth, we are looking to recruit into the Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance department.

Based out of Leyland, you will join a team of compliance professionals who work to maintain the highest standards throughout the group. Occasional travel will be required as we have sites in Glasgow, London, Manchester and Liverpool.

Depending upon your experience and skillsets you will be responsible for any of the aspects below:

  • Classification of Waste Streams
  • Accident and Incidents Investigations
  • Management of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 standards and associated paperwork
  • Provide Environmental/Chemical guidance and support to colleagues as well as customers and other stakeholders
  • Maintaining compliance with Environmental permits and exemptions
  • Providing in house training for operations staff

You will ideally have experience in some or all the following areas

  • Chemicals / hazardous waste / waste storage
  • Waste reporting
  • Environmental Permitting
  • Auditing

You will need to be degree qualified in relevant discipline and ideally have an environmental/chemistry and or H&S qualification. Having said this, we will not overlook the right person as training will be given to support development.
