We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Bodywork Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of vehicle repair and restoration, specialising in bodywork and panel repairs. This role involves assessing damage, performing repairs, and restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and attention to detail. Responsibilities

  • Assess vehicle damage and determine the necessary bodywork repairs
  • Remove damaged panels and parts using appropriate hand tools and power tools
  • Repair or replace panels, ensuring proper fitment and finish
  • Prepare surfaces for painting through sanding, filling, and priming
  • Use specialised tools to straighten or reshape bent panels or frames
  • Apply paint, coatings, or finishes to restore vehicle appearance
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Keep detailed records of work performed for each vehicle

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle structures and repair techniques
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, dollies, and pry bars
  • Experience with power tools including grinders, sanders, and drills
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishings
  • Good organisational skills to manage multiple repair tasks efficiently

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess damage accurately
