Assistant Finance Business Partner

Location: Huddersfield with hybrid working
We are recruiting an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join the Finance team for our FMG business. This role will play a key part in supporting the senior operations team with high quality data, proactive insight and commercial analysis, helping drive informed decisions across the business. You will work closely with operational leaders to provide clear financial visibility and ensure opportunities and risks are identified and acted on.
You will be the link between finance and the business, owning functional costs and revenue budgets and contributing to periodic forecasting across branches. You will support and challenge teams to maximise revenue, control costs and improve performance, using data to influence outcomes and drive continuous improvement. Regular reporting, KPI commentary and ad hoc analysis will be central to your work, along with preparing and presenting monthly performance insight.

Salary - £32,000 - £35,000per annum dependant on your level of experience

About You
- AAT qualified or currently studying CIMA, ACCA or an equivalent qualification
- You'll have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret detailed financial data and translate it into meaningful insight
- You're comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- With strong stakeholder management skills, you'll have the confidence to engage and influence at different levels
- Having experience in a management accounting or commercial analyst role, ideally supporting a multi-site operational environment is desirable
