Join a global leader in satellite communications, who are seeking a Chief Systems Engineer to take end-end ownership of a UK Government funded SATCOM mission.

Working alongside the Programme Manager, this hands-on position will guide the project from concept and design through to commissioning and in-orbit operations.

Job Title: Chief Systems Engineer

Location: London

Set-Up: Hybrid, flexible with as little as 1 day in office.

Salary Guideline: £90,000-£110,000
depending on experience, and negotiable for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary engineering contact for the entire programme
  • Direct system level design and integration across spacecraft subsystems
  • Define and manage mission requirements focusing on high performance communications payloads
  • Apply deep knowledge of Propulsion, Mechanics, and Spacecraft Structure to integration and design decisions.
  • Provide expertise in electronics, PCBs, and RF systems relevant to the communications payload.
