Maintenance Engineer
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £48,000 + Benefits
Shifts: Weekly Rotating (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join a forward-thinking manufacturing business in Peterborough on a permanent basis. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing process equipment to ensure smooth operations, reduce downtime, and enhance plant performance.
Job Responsibilities
To ensure a high standard of maintenance to attain factory performance goalsElectrical setup and production supportFault finding and repair of breakdownsTo be fully aware of factory safety issues and work in a safe manner at all timesPerformance of preventive maintenanceFabrication and installation of plant machinery under supervisionPerson Specification
What We're Looking for in a Maintenance Engineer:
Recognised electrical apprenticeship (City and Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)Experience of Production equipment, maintenance in a diverse factory environmentDual skilled (Electrical/Mechanical maintenance)Good diagnostic skillsElectrical/Mechanical maintenance experienceHigher qualification (eg ONC/HNC) or equivalent experienceComputer literate (stores systems and Maintenance Management Systems)Hours of Work, Pay, and Benefits
