What the role involves

  • Planning and preparing meals that reflect individual preferences and nutritional requirements
  • Using fresh, high-quality ingredients to create balanced, enjoyable dishes
  • Managing stock levels, ordering supplies and maintaining kitchen standards
  • Leading and supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
  • Encouraging residents to take part in food-related activities that make mealtimes special

What you will bring

You'll bring catering experience, a Food Handling Certificate and a real passion for cooking with care. You'll have good organisational skills, an eye for detail and an understanding of food hygiene and Health & Safety requirements. Basic computer skills are useful, and you'll need to be a member of the PVG scheme or willing to join.
