Rafferty Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced and customer-focused AV Technician to support a prestigious corporate site in Central London. This is a permanent role offering hands-on technical work, variety, and the opportunity to support high-profile meetings, events, and collaboration spaces in a world-class environment.

The Role:
As the AV Technician, you will deliver day-to-day operational support across all onsite audio-visual and video conferencing systems. From room checks and system testing to event setup and troubleshooting, you'll ensure every meeting runs smoothly and every user receives an excellent service experience. You'll become the go-to onsite AV expert, providing first-line support, resolving issues quickly, and working closely with IT and facilities teams to maintain a reliable, high-quality AV environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily operational support across all AV and VC systems in meeting rooms and event spaces
Set up, test, and operate AV/VC systems for internal and external meetings, presentations, and live events
Deliver support for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, and other VC platforms
Diagnose, resolve, and escalate technical issues as needed
Conduct daily room checks and preventative maintenance to ensure systems are ready for use
Assist with logistics for large events, including town halls and executive presentations
Maintain accurate records of incidents, service requests, and resolutions
Provide friendly and clear user guidance, supporting staff and executives with AV best practices
Collaborate with IT, facilities, and external vendors to maintain service reliability
Maintain equipment inventory and asset tracking
Adhere to onsite health and safety policies
Shift Pattern:
Weekly rotating shifts to ensure full onsite support:
07:00 15:00
08:00 16:00
11:00 19:00
Flexibility is required to support events and business needs.
Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge of collaboration technologies (Teams Rooms, Logitech, Poly, Yealink, etc.)
Hands-on experience working with AV hardware, including Crestron, QSC, microphones, DSPs, and switchers
Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Professional, customer-focused, and comfortable supporting users at all levels, including executives
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Flexible to support occasional out-of-hours events when required
AVIXA CTS certification is advantageous
