Responsibilities:

- Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events

- Manage inventory of flowers, plants, and supplies

- Oversee the care and maintenance of flowers and plants in the shop

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their floral needs and preferences

- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and create custom floral designs

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new floral design techniques

- Train and mentor junior florists

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a florist, preferably in a senior or leadership role

- Proficient in English (multilingual skills, especially Spanish, are a plus)

- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and multiple projects simultaneously

- Excellent communication skills to effectively sell floral products and communicate with clients

- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and their care requirements

- Creativity and artistic ability to design unique and visually appealing arrangements

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
