Barista/Deli Assistant

We are looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join our team as we grow our evening offereing. The job is based on a mix of shifts but with initial emphasis on helping out on Friday nights and weekends.
Hack & Veldt is a small but busy Deli/Coffee Shop much loved by the local community.
We offer in-house training, free lunches and a friendly atmosphere to work in.

Qualifications
- Proven barista experience with a strong emphasis on customer service
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Skills in food preparation and basic math for accurate order handling
- Excellent time management abilities to ensure efficient service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and food items to customers with attention to quality and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
- Assist in food preparation and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Manage time efficiently to meet customer demands during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50 per hour
