This is an exciting, full time permanent role, (open to 4 days aweek) for an ambitious finance professional with a strong foundation inmanagement accounting who is looking to progress their career within peoplemanagement.

Your new role

In your new role, you will be reporting directly intothe Financial Controller; taking on a pivotal role within the finance functionto positively manage and develop the existing finance team as well assupporting in core tasks during month end. This position will be heavilyinvolved in the posting of journals, accruals and prepayments as well assupporting in the production of monthly management accounts. Given themanagerial responsibilities as part of this opportunity, you will be someonewho is comfortable getting involved in ledger management, reconciliations anddealing with escalated queries relating to transactional finance tasks.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed, you will be a dedicated and driven financeprofessional who can demonstrate a sound background in core finance tasks and apractical understanding of the preparation and production of monthly managementaccounts. You will be someone who is interested in taking the next step withintheir finance career to broaden their knowledge and skills as well as becomingpart of the longer term strategic finance business plan. Holding a formalaccountancy qualification is not an essential requirement, but having practicalexperience within a similar finance capacity will be of considerable advantage.
