In recent years the business has evolved into producing bespoke joinery for commercial interiors such as retail fit outs, hospitality spaces and office interiors. Located in Newtownabbey, we operate throughout UK, Ireland and further afield in Europe. Privately owned, we operate as a group with a sister company Off The Wall Creative specialising in bespoke signage projects, we're unique in how we bring together creative, technology and production under one roof and work collaboratively with our sister company across multi-disciplines such as joinery, print, electrics and metal fabrication. We're a team of around 30 talented individuals who have built a fantastic community – we're collaborative, passionate and social. What connects us all is that we love what we do

Role Summary

We're looking for a Senior Designer with experience in 2D and 3D spatial design who thrives on conceptual thinking, hands-on craft and innovation. As a key member of our Creative team, you'll be an expert in your field, a mentor, and a hands-on creator. You'll work closely with our talented technical teams and project managers to transform ambitious visions into realities, leading spatial across projects from initial concept to final delivery.

What You'll Do:

  • Outline Client Design objectives
  • Conceptualise and design using mood boards and 3d models
  • Produce working drawings for production
  • Work to timelines and schedules
  • Work to Customer driven budgets
  • Source materials and products highlighted in design plans
  • Collaborate with sales and production to ensure design is fit for purpose
  • Client collaboration, present concepts and ideas, incorporate feedback
  • Maintain project documentation ensuring all design information is accurate and up to date
  • Assist in ensuring the implementation of designs on site

Requirements

  • Degree educated in design related course.
  • Portfolio of design work
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in regard to communicating a vision.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail , proactive approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in 3d Modelling software, Vectorworks, Autocad , Illustrator or similar design software.
  • 3D Rendering experience

Desirable

  • Experience in a fit out / bespoke joinery environment
  • Experience in exhibition design
