CRM Campaign Manager
London or Paris (Hybrid, 60% in office)
We're looking for a proactive and collaborative CRM Campaign Manager to join our CRM Campaigns team, focusing on the French market. This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of CRM principles, who is passionate about customer retention and driving commercial impact through well-planned, data-informed campaigns.

You will play a key part in shaping and executing CRM strategies by working closely with multiple stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, and Data. While this role is less hands-on technically, you will be responsible for planning, ideating, and managing CRM campaigns, ensuring clear communication and alignment between the teams within the CRM function.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, dynamic environment where your strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills will directly influence customer engagement, retention and business growth.

As a CRM Campaign Manager at Trainline, you will...

  • Collaborate closely with the CRM Operations and CRM Tech teams to deliver highly engaging communications & journeys using email, push and in app messaging focused on the French market.
  • Develop and manage the CRM campaign roadmap, working with key stakeholders across the Commercial team to align CRM plans with broader business goals.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively while maintaining clear and proactive communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Write detailed briefs to direct copy, design, segmentation, testing and personalisation.
  • Lead on CRM projects within the team, managing the outcomes and communication within and outside the team.
  • Support the continuous improvement of our CRM strategy by implementing impactful tests within campaigns and contributing ideas which drive optimisation.
  • Report on campaign performance, pulling together data from multiple sources to give a complete view of effectiveness. Work with the CRM Analyst to understand more detailed performance, insights and implement improvements where needed.
  • Use insights and learnings to build plans for continuously improved communications.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of campaign plans, processes, and outcomes to support team alignment and knowledge sharing.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience working within a CRM function in a fast-paced environment, ideally with exposure to email, push and in-app message formats.
  • Solid understanding of CRM and retention concepts and how they integrate within broader marketing plans.
  • Familiarity with major CRM platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Adobe Campaign is a plus, though hands-on experience is not mandatory.
  • Comfortable working in campaign planning and ideation rather than hands-on technical execution.
  • Passionate about customer retention and delivering engaging, relevant customer communications.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills across functions.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of quality. Cares about and takes pride in their outputs.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-changing, multi-location team environment with multiple stakeholders and deadlines. Able to deliver under pressure.
  • Intellectually curious, passionate and always looking for new opportunities. Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet deadlines.
  • Has a willingness to learn and experience ongoing personal growth.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and creative. Likes to bring ideas to the table.
  • French language skills are desirable but not essential; a good understanding of the French market is beneficial.
