At City Care Southwest, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to live independently in a happy, healthy and nurturing environment- one where they feel safe, valued and empowered to grow into the best versions of themselves.
Working within a warm, homely residential setting, you will support, coach and assist children and young people aged 5 and 17, helping them to attend school, develop essential life skills, and thrive.
Based in the heart of Plymouth, our home provides easy access to the city's many opportunities and amenities, enabling you to offer positive, engaging and child-centered support. You will help young people explore their potential while ensuring their individual views, wishes, and feelings are always respected.
We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic and caring individuals who are passionate about making a difference. No two days will be the same – you might be leading activities or outings one day, teaching household and life skills the next, or accompanying young people to appointments and helping them maintain important family connections.
In this role you'll benefit from strong management support and the chance to be part of a close-knit team with a genuine family feel- a place where you are valued, supported and recognised for the positive impact you make every day.

Pay: £13.50-£18.25 per hour
