A dynamic and fast-growing engineering company headquartered in Munich, Germany employing around 2350 employees globally across 20 project locations in 8 countries including multiple locations across the UK.

We are seeking highly skilled Java Full Stack Architect to join our team at our customer's location in in London with a required five-day presence in the office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years hands-on experience in software development with deep expertise in Java Full Stack Engineering (FSE), including architectural design, Spring Boot, JBoss, WebFlux, and RESTful services, along with solid skills in UI development, SQL, and overall application integration. The role demands a strong understanding of scalable system design and an ability to drive technical decisions across the full development lifecycle. We prefer candidate immediate to 1 month availability.

Roles

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications using Java Full Stack technologies.
• Lead end-to-end technical architecture, covering backend, frontend, integration, and deployment.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to development teams.
• Oversee backend development using Spring Boot, WebFlux, and RESTful services.
• Guide frontend/UI development and integration with modern frameworks.
• Manage application deployment and configuration on JBoss application server.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks for project needs.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable architecture solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and reactive programming with WebFlux.
• Design and optimize relational database schemas and queries using SQL.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication across systems.
• Support frontend development by ensuring smooth integration with backend services.
• Ensure system performance, scalability, and security across the full stack.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve system-level defects.
• Document architectural decisions, technical designs, and integration patterns.
• Support CI/CD practices and deployment automation for smooth release cycles.
• Monitor and maintain application performance in JBoss environments.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend adoption when appropriate.
