Crowne Plaza Manchester City Centre is looking for an ambitious, hardworking and passionate breakfast chef to prepare and cook breakfast for our guests to the highest standard according to the company policy. You will support the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen with the preparation of conference and banqueting lunches and staff food. You will control the breakfast shift by taking ownership of food quality, brand standards and food safety standards and ensure our guests have a great start to their day.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver breakfast to the company Brand Standards
- Take control of the breakfast service, anticipate guest needs and ensure guests receive a memorable breakfast
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times and food hygiene standards are adhered to
- Cooking and managing breakfast and assisting with lunch service
- Ensure correct crockery is used to guarantee consistent standards at all times
- Ensure health and safety records are maintained and up to date
- Maintain excellent working relationships with the Food and Beverage team and other departments
- Support the Head Chef by controlling food costs and ensuring costings and budgets are achieved
- To be correctly dressed at all times and understand the importance of personal hygiene
- Dealing with deliveries and stock rotation
