We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern, high-performance web applications integrated with the ServiceNow platform. You will lead the frontend development of applications using React, Vite, and components based off shadcn/radix-UI, ensuring seamless integration with backend ServiceNow workflows and APIs.

This is a hands-on technical role where you'll collaborate closely with UX designers, ServiceNow engineers, and product stakeholders to create intuitive and scalable user interfaces that drive operational efficiency and excellent user experiences.

Summary

  • Lead Frontend Development:

  • ServiceNow Integration:
  • Work with ServiceNow developers to connect frontend components with ServiceNow APIs, data models, and workflows (e.g., via REST, GraphQL, or Service Portal integrations).
  • UI/UX Implementation:
  • Collaborate with design teams to translate wireframes and mock-ups into responsive, production-ready interfaces with pixel-perfect precision.
  • Performance Optimisation:
  • Optimize load times, rendering performance, and frontend build pipelines using Vite and modern React features (Suspense, server components, etc.).
  • Component Design System:
  • Develop and maintain a consistent UI component library based on custom and shadcn/radix-UI components and Tailwind v4, ensuring a cohesive design language across applications.
  • Code Quality & Best Practices:
  • Write clean, testable code following modern JavaScript, TypeScript and React patterns. Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers to improve overall frontend engineering practices.

What we are looking for in you

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a focus on React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Strong experience with Vite (or other modern build tools like Webpack, Rollup, or Parcel).
  • Experience with shadcn/radix-UI, Tailwind v4, and modern UI design patterns.
  • Proven experience integrating with backend systems and frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of web application architecture, state management, (cached) querying (Redux, RTK etc.) and API consumption patterns.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:
