About the Role:

As a Sales Executive, you will be at the heart of our new branch's success, playing a key role in generating sales and delivering outstanding service to both trade and retail customers. Your focus will be on developing relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and ensuring our customers have the right solutions for their plumbing and heating needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities with trade professionals and retail customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products.
  • Product Promotion: Promote the full range of plumbing and heating products, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Quoting & Ordering: Prepare quotes, process orders accurately, and follow up on enquiries to secure sales.
  • Sales Support: Assist with stock management, merchandising, and ensuring the branch is well presented.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

About You:

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in a sales role, ideally within a plumbing, heating, or builders' merchant environment.
  • Is confident in working towards sales targets with a proactive approach.
  • Possesses strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Has good product knowledge of plumbing and heating materials.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Holds a valid UK driving license (preferred).
