About the Role:

L Lynch Plant & Haulage is seeking an experienced Foreman to join our team on a major project for a Tier One client near Inverness. You'll assist in managing site activities, supervising operatives, and ensuring that all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise site operatives and subcontractors on daily tasks.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating works to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety and CDM Regulations.
  • Oversee road and drainage installations, kerbing, and surfacing works.
  • Check quality of workmanship and adherence to design specifications.
  • Support the Works Manager and Senior General Foreman in reporting and progress tracking.
  • Maintain accurate site diaries and daily records.
  • Encourage safe working practices and a positive site culture.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Foreman or Ganger within highways, drainage, or civil engineering projects.
  • Good understanding of road construction and drainage methods.
  • Knowledge of Section 278/38 works and local authority standards.
  • SMSTS & Gold CSCS or above.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
