Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy. Your expertise will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems using appropriate diagnostic equipment and techniques.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used and labour hours.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the automotive industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
