Export Documentation Specialist – Logistics Company

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Export Documentation Specialist to join our growing logistics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing, managing, and submitting export documents, ensuring all shipments comply with UK and international regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and process all export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.)
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure smooth and timely shipments
• Ensure compliance with all relevant export regulations and procedures
• Maintain accurate records and files for all shipments
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to resolve documentation-related issues promptly
• Track and follow up on shipments to ensure timely clearance and delivery
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years' experience in export documentation within a logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping company
• Excellent knowledge of export procedures and customs regulations
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant logistics software
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
