We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team at Homecare Gurus Ltd. In this role, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in care homes, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. Your kindness and commitment to quality care will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with mobility and transferring safely from one place to another.
- Help with meal preparation and ensuring proper nutrition.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to the care team.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote their independence and happiness.
- Follow care plans and support the overall care strategy in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Previous UK experience as a Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a strong desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Relevant training in care provision, including manual handling, first aid, and safeguarding, is desirable.
