· Source, screen, and interview healthcare workers (carers, support workers, nurses).
· Conduct right-to-work, DBS, and reference checks in line with compliance requirements.
· Maintain a pipeline of available candidates to meet urgent client needs.
· Effective and timely handover to the onboarding team.
· Complete, organise and maintain records including candidate applications and compliance documents.
Shift Booking· Manage incoming shift requests from care homes and healthcare providers.
· Allocate and confirm staff to shifts in line with client requirements.
· Maintain accurate records of bookings on the scheduling system.
· Communicate promptly with care workers regarding shift offers, confirmations, or cancellations.
· Handle last-minute cancellations and rebook shifts quickly to minimise client disruption.
General· Build strong relationships with both clients and care workers.
· Provide excellent customer service and respond to queries professionally.
· Work closely with the wider team to meet weekly/monthly booking targets.
Working Conditions· Full-time position, spread over 7 days (40hrs) with 1 weekend off each month
· Fully remote until January 2026 with daily team meetings and support
· Occasional overtime during busy financial cycles or reporting deadlines
· Possible travel for training or company events
· Collaborative and supportive work culture
Education & Experience· Qualification in any of these subjects:
o Human Resources / Business Administration
o Psychology
o Logistics / Supply Chain Management
o Sociology / Social Sciences
o Data Analytics
· Previous experience in a Recruitment role preferred
Essential Skills & Competencies· Analytical and logical approach to recruitment, with strong problem-solving ability.
· Commercial awareness, with an understanding of how recruitment decisions impact business performance.
· Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Clear and confident communicator — strong verbal and written skills (phone, email, messaging).
· Resilient under pressure, adaptable to last-minute changes.
· Strong IT skills, including CRMs, booking/scheduling systems, MS Office, and databases.
Desirable Skills & Competencies· Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, or staffing coordination.
· Awareness of compliance requirements (e.g. DBS, right-to-work checks)
