mid-level Intellectual Property Associate
to join its top-ranked
IP team in London
.

, the firm's IP practice is one of the largest in the City, with extensive expertise across
patents, trade marks, copyright, and data protection
.

This opportunity offers exposure to high-profile and technically complex matters, particularly
patent litigation within the life sciences sector
. You'll work alongside market-leading partners and international colleagues, advising global clients on IP protection, enforcement, and strategy.

The role:

  • Advise on a full range of IP rights, with a focus on patent litigation in life sciences
  • Handle complex, high-value disputes before the High Court
  • Support partners in developing the IP practice and broader firm strategy
  • Mentor junior lawyers and collaborate across disciplines and jurisdictions

The ideal candidate:

  • 3–5 PQE lawyer with strong experience in patent litigation
  • STEM degree and excellent academic credentials (Oxford IP Diploma advantageous)
  • Background from a top-tier IP or life sciences litigation practice
  • Strong technical understanding, commercial judgment, and collaborative mindset
