Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across a new premises. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the facilities are hygienic, welcoming, and well-presented for clients and staff alike. Previous experience is not essential, as training will be provided, but a positive attitude and strong communication skills are desirable.

Duties

  • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
  • Ensure waste disposal is carried out efficiently and correctly
  • Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
  • Use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
  • Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required

Experience

  • Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles is advantageous but not mandatory; full training will be provided
  • Good communication skills in English to understand instructions and interact professionally with colleagues and clients
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Customer service skills are beneficial for roles involving interaction with clients or visitors

£13.00 per hour, 4 weekly pay
