Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems. This role requires an individual who can interpret schematics, build equipment, and demonstrate leadership qualities while working collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Interpret technical schematics and drawings to facilitate accurate installation.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to apprentices as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on air conditioning systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
  • Experience in installing HVAC equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues effectively.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior staff members.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
  • Relevant Fgas qualifications or certifications.
  • Previous experience in the industry of at least 5 years.
