The Role
The Role

We are opening a new world-class facility and are looking for new talented people to join us on this exciting journey.
We require high standards of PCB soldering skills to build products for leading technology companies. You would be working within a small team responsible for the manufacturing of complex products to IPC class level 3. Our technicians are required to read and fully understand manufacturing drawings/route cards, including component types and orientation. We have in-house trainers to certify staff to IPC standards.
Responsibilities
- Soldering a wide range of PTH components to IPC or J-STD level *
- Soldering to IPC class 2 & 3 and/or J-STD level
- Reworking to the standards above (desirable)
- Operation of Xrays/ Wave soldering and other assembly equipment.
- Manufacturing cable assemblies/Small mechanical assemblies and enclosures
- Completing manual processes such as board washing, breakout, press-fit parts
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and documentation for build conformance
- A pro-active approach to managing and reporting to the quality / engineering and operations teams
About you
- Experience working in a similar role in manufacturing environment
- Experience and certified to IPC or J-STD level
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
