About the opportunity 

You will be a key part of a team that is passionate about delivering unforgettable customer care, all while having the support, resources, and progression opportunities that come with the biggest brand in healthcare.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Leading clinics and providing specialist care and advice to all patients 
• Testing eyes using the latest technology whilst maintaining outstanding patient care. 
• Delivering enhanced services dependant on the store needs 
• Responding to emergency triages 
• Working with external healthcare professionals
• Providing clinical support to team members on the shop floor 
• Providing advice to patients using your clinical knowledge 
• Keeping up to date with latest clinical practices. 
• Working closely with senior stakeholders 

What you'll need to have

The essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role:

• GOC registered (or expecting to be in the next 6 months) 
• Additional registration with the relevant NHS body
• Drive to deliver excellent patient care.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills 
• The motivation to 'See What's Possible' for our teams, customers, and patients.

Need To Know
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 experienced, fully qualified and registered Mobile Optometrist to join us on a resident basis based out of our Glasgow Fort practice at Boots Opticians.

one role between stores in the glasgow hub / Glasgow fort / Clydebank/ glasgow city center x3 stores / Newton Mearns and Kirkintilloch . The other role fully mobile based from Glasgow Fort covering a wider Area up to 1 hour travel from Glasgow Fort store .

The Glasgow practice is supported by a team of 25 however as you will be moving around the size of the store will vary according to the location, including some very talented Clinicians. Each practise consist of OCT, Phoropters and some do have the Optomap as well.
