A friendly and well-regarded primary school in Havering is seeking a full-time Year 2 Teacher to start as soon as possible. This is a fantastic chance for a passionate teacher to inspire and support students in their educational journey, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent after the summer term.

About the Role

  • Position: Year 2 Teacher
  • Location: Havering
  • Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (until the summer term, with potential for permanency)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of Year 2 students.
  • Assess students' progress and provide targeted interventions to support their learning.
  • Help prepare students for end-of-key-stage assessments, ensuring they achieve their potential.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident and motivated to learn.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and carers regarding student progress and welfare.

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
