As our Marketing Specialist, Travel, you'll be a driving force behind campaigns and strategies for our cruise, expedition, theme park, luxury, car, and air travel products. You'll collaborate with leading suppliers and internal teams to inspire, engage, and deliver results that fuel wanderlust and brand loyalty.
Using your strategic thinking, you will shape and lead comprehensive marketing campaigns, you'll use your understanding of the travel industry, and data-driven approach to ensure our campaigns resonate with travelers at every stage of their journey. From leading Omnichannel campaigns and strategies to exploring new opportunities for growth, you'll be the key player in our mission to take travelers to their dream destinations.

- Proven experience in creating and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, both online and offline.
- Expertise in multi-channel marketing, including email, SEO/SEM, paid digital advertising, social media, and OOH.
- Experience in the travel, hospitality, or lifestyle industries is a plus.
- An understanding of the latest digital marketing tools, trends, and technologies.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Develop and execute creative, data-driven marketing campaigns that capture the essence of travel for Albertans and our brand, focusing on cruise, expedition, theme park, luxury, car, and air products.
- Deliver personal-based messaging and collateral geared at engaging and supporting customers in all stages of their lifecycle.
- Define marketing mediums and techniques to increase visibility and traffic across our travel business unit.
- Develop lead generation strategies to effectively incubate, qualify, and convert leads.
- Take ownership of the full campaign lifecycle—from conceptualization to execution—ensuring every campaign is delivered on time and within budget.
- Perform detailed analysis and report results across programs, campaigns, and segments, making actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Continually test and optimize existing campaigns to identify areas of improvement.
- Build strong relationships with key travel suppliers (e.g., Disney, Royal Caribbean, luxury brands, car rental, and air partners) to drive growth and deliver compelling offers.
- Meet with business units and suppliers to keep current with strategies, needs, changes to products and services, market considerations, and the business environment.
- Craft inspiring creative and content that fuels wanderlust and engages our community of travelers across multiple platforms.
- Propose new and improved inbound marketing campaign ideas.
- Project manages marketing campaigns by working closely with product, sales, creative, and digital media teams to create seamless marketing experiences that make an impact.
- Define key performance indicators and implement enterprise-level measurement, analytics, and reporting measures to gauge success.
- Regularly analyze performance across all channels (digital, social, email, paid media) and implement A/B testing and other optimization strategies to improve results.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving consumer preferences to identify new growth opportunities and keep our marketing strategies innovative and relevant.
- Ensure member and client issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
What You Bring to the Table
- You have a university degree or post-secondary diploma in a related field, such as Marketing or Communications.
- You have a strong background in both digital and traditional marketing with a minimum of four (4) years of experience.
- You also have a minimum of four (4) years of marketing account coordinator experience under your belt.
- You have an understanding and experience with SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media and copywriting.
